November 23–January 1
The Dazzling Lights
The RHEMA Christmas Lights Display was introduced in 1982 with approximately 60,000 lights. This year, more than two million lights will illuminate the RHEMA campus from Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday, November 23) through New Year’s Day from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. This year’s display is expected to draw more than 200,000 visitors from all over Oklahoma and surrounding states. As always, admission is free.
A centerpiece of the display each year is the RHEMA Park bridge. This year, more than 90,000 lights will shine on the bridge alone. These lights will again be synchronized to Christmas music—both classic and modern.
Taking In the View
There are several ways to view the display. You can drive around the RHEMA campus in your car, walk around campus and through the park, or take a carriage ride. Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available (weather permitting) on the following dates:
- November 24–26
- December 2–3, 9–10, 16–25
Carriage rides are $10 for each adult and $5 for each child. Or you can get a Family Pack, which includes up to two adults and an unlimited number of children, for $25.
The Purpose
RHEMA’s Christmas Lights Display is designed to provide a safe, peaceful, and fun atmosphere in which people can enjoy the Christmas season, and to point visitors to the love of Christ and the real meaning of Christmas.
Donations
Admission to Rhema’s Christmas lights extravaganza is free, but visitors who would like to see even more spectacular LED lights next year will have the opportunity to donate toward the display. A portion of all donations received will go to local charities.
Concessions and Pictures With Santa
Concession food and pictures with Santa will be sold by AXIS® Youth, the youth ministry of RHEMA Bible Church. On those cold nights, a cup of hot chocolate or coffee will warm you up as you walk through the display. Popcorn, funnel cake, and other foods will also be available.
