The goal of the RHEMA Bible Church staff is to effectively meet the needs of the growing congregation as well as people beyond the four walls of the church. RHEMA Bible Church is constantly ministering to surrounding communities through such outreaches as a prison and a nursing-home ministry and the RHEMA “We-Care Center,” which provides food, clothing, and furniture to those in need. The people of RHEMA Bible Church also have a strong dedication to missions, providing financial and prayer support for a substantial number of missionaries and missionary projects. |

At RHEMA Bible Church, we not only reach out to our local community, but around the world as well. Many church members have experienced other cultures through mission trips at RBC. Several have commented that their lives were changed as a result of ministering the Gospel on the foreign field. After returning from a youth mission trip to Brazil, 17-year-old Chandler said, “The trip made me wonder why all this great stuff happened in Brazil, but hardly ever here. God showed me that it happened because our purpose in going to Brazil was to change lives, and many times we don’t see that as our everyday mission. So I’ve started looking at my purpose in a whole different perspective.”
Along with the various mission trips throughout the year, members of RBC give toward various missions projects. One of those projects is “R.” K.I.D.S. (RHEMA Kids in Distant Schools), which supports the education of missionaries’ children in Germany and Mexico.
“Being an ‘R.KID’ has been one of the greatest blessings of my life,” said Tiffany, whose parents are missionaries in Mexico. “I go to one of the greatest schools in all of Mexico City, and the greatest international school in all of Mexico. I have sometimes thought to myself If I had to go to another school, where would I go? and honestly, nothing else compares. I love my school. I have had the opportunity to be class president, part of the soccer team, and so many more things. And now that I will be a senior and this will be my last year in high school and in Mexico, I’ve realized that none of that would have been possible without R.K.I.D.S. I’m ready to make the absolute most out of my last year here and at ASF (American School Foundation), and I’m excited about what God is doing at RHEMA. I really could not be more sincere when I say THANK YOU to everyone who has ever contributed to R.K.I.D.S. You have no idea how much it means.” |
