Ways To Serve

By serving in the various areas of supportive role ministry at Rhema Bible Church, members help contribute to the effectiveness of their local church while they make new friends in the process!

We have many places where you can help!

Are you outgoing? Do you love to meet new people? Our Connection Team members greet those coming into services and make visitors to our church feel welcome and comfortable. Training is provided.

Do you have a passion for praying with others and seeing them saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit? Altar Care is the place for you! Our team serves at the close of every worship service to pray with those who come forward. We will train you!
A smile and a kind greeting—even in the parking lot—show our guests and church members that they are welcome. Join the Traffic Team and be that person who makes a great first impression! Traffic Team members are also responsible to provide parking assistance and ensure the safety of our pedestrian traffic.
Are you a licensed (CDL) and skilled bus driver? Rhema Bible Church has multiple opportunities throughout the year for bus drivers—both on-campus and on road trips. Join our team today!

Are you proficient in Spanish? Join our team as we translate services and minister to the Spanish speakers of our community.

Do you have experience as a sound technician? Join our audio team! Because we serve in a variety of services around campus—and because service times vary—there’s a lot of opportunity to get involved. Experience is preferred, but if you want to learn, we will train you.

Are you creative? Do you have an eye for excellence in lighting and set design? Come join our lighting team and help enhance our services, which are broadcast around the world. Experience is preferred.

Want to help touch the world? The Video Department is responsible for broadcasting Rhema’s weekly services and special events around the globe—and we need you! We’re looking for camera operators and studio crew who are willing to serve Rhema Bible Church and Rhema Bible Training College in a variety of capacities. Experience is preferred, but training will be provided.

Taking Communion is one of the most precious and memorable things we do as believers. By preparing the elements prior to Communion services, Communion Helpers make it possible for our entire church to participate.

Do you possess organizational and technical office skills? We’ve got a place for you! Assist our office administrators in basic office tasks a few hours each week.

Do you love helping others find what they’re looking for? Don’t miss this great opportunity to volunteer in our bookstore. We’ve got Bibles, books, music, and tons of gifts—for all ages and occasions. We’d love to have you join our team!

Do you have the gift of hospitality and a heart to serve families in their time of need? Our funeral workers prepare and deliver meals to families who have lost loved ones, demonstrating love and care in a practical way.

Do you love the art of photography and possess great organizational and office skills? This is your opportunity to apply those talents and assist our staff photographer.

Are you artistic and gifted in the area of calligraphy? The Church Office could use your special talent periodically through the year for special documents like baby dedication certificates and baptismal certificates. A sample of your work must be submitted.

Want to help bring restoration to those who have lost their way and need direction in their lives? Join our Prison Ministry team as they take the message of God’s love and forgiveness into local correctional facilities. Approval from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections is required.

Want to gain vital ministry experience and make a difference that will last for eternity? Join the Nursing Home Ministry team and help us as we minister to local nursing home residents each week. We need those who can sing; play the piano; teach and preach the Word; or just give a loving, caring touch.
If you love helping others, this is the opportunity for you! Each week our We-Care Center provides food, clothing, furniture, and other items to individuals and families in our community who are in need. Be a part of our distribution team and make a difference in someone’s life today!

Are you looking for a volunteer assignment that is varied, fast-paced, and essential to the operation of our church? Become a part of our dynamic usher team. Ushers provide assistance in every worship service by taking up offerings and providing seating direction and healing line support. Training is provided.

If you love to read, have an eye for detail, and are organized, our library could use your talents. Help is needed to restock and computer catalog books, and keep our library neat and in order. Come join our team.
